Inhalation Route

The inhalation route is the method of administering a drug by breathing it into the lungs through the nose or mouth. This route delivers the drug directly to the respiratory tract, where it can act locally on the lungs or be absorbed into the bloodstream for systemic effects. It is commonly used in treating asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), and for delivering anesthetic gases.
